Bunny a day challenge

As announced on my Facebook page, I've had to stop this fun and difficult challenge since I realized I was spending more time making and planning my bunnies than I did on my product...

I am still thinking of a way I might do a smaller, easier version of that challenge that wouldn't involve slicing my already busy schedule too much...

More on that hopefully soon!

A Bunny A Day Challenge - Day #33

Let's say I am late in posting this one because of the end of the world...

Technically it is almost true!

I made this one out of a publicity I received on a Christmas card before leaving for my last class of the program yesterday morning, thinking I would have time to take a picture between then and the projection of my boyfriend short film along with all the other who participated in the "end of the world movie film festival" the shooting of which made me lose 2 bunnies last weekend. I did get back home for a whopping 20 minutes between my class and the projection (well the restaurant before to be accurate ;p) but the flash batteries were empty...

So I finished it yesterday and here it finally is!

See you later today for #34!

A Bunny A Day Challenge - Day #32

Who said you need to pay to put plastic decoration in your house when a little bit of work and originality can create easy and fun decoration. Make bows out of ribbons, tie candy cane on a string and use them as a garland or fall back to the old paper garland technique. There are many free pattern available on the web and you can use your wrapping paper leftover to make these!

I used a thin strip of wrapping paper to make this one, it could have been a bit thicker but it's the only one I had on hand and it still look fun!

What do you use to decorate your home: handmade or bought decorations? Let me know here!

See you tomorrow for #33!

A Bunny A Day Challenge - Day #31

I am the Green Bunny!

Although I don't plan on working with those on every day... But do you think I should wear them to events?

These are made of fleece sown on a thin metal wire and attached to a metal headband for extra durability.

See you tomorrow for #32!

A Bunny A Day Challenge - Day #30

Well, after the trouble of this weekend, I am back with a Christmasy bunny!

This hair barrette bunny is made out of felt made of recycled plastic bottles.

I hope you like it!

See you tomorrow for #31!

A Bunny A Day Challenge - Days #28 & 29

You might have noticed that I didn't produce any bunnies on the 15 & 16 of December, we will call those 2 lost in action.

I had an event on both days from 11:00 to 6:00 (which means I was there from 9:00 until 6:30). That would have still been ok, but I was alone both days and got home to a short movie shooting in my own apartment... I was aware of it since by boyfriend was directing it, but that means that instead of going to bed, I helped as I could on Saturday, got to bed at 3:00 am, got to my event the following morning with less than 5 hours of sleep in me, did the event and got back home at 7:30 pm to cook some food and try to make our apartment look like a habitable place again!

I do not know if you ever was close to a film shooting but one thing is for sure, there is a lot of moving of furniture involve in a real apartment (as opposed to decor) to make room for the camera, lights and all...

So after we had eaten and replaced most of the stuff to their proper place, I just went to bed!

There will be 2 more bunnies added to the end of the 365 days to make up for these 2 poor little bunnies lost in action and one a bit later on tonight as I am still working on it!

See you soon!

A Bunny A Day Challenge - Day #27

I was trying to find a way to make small green bunny decoration for my table for this weekend's event... Turn out nicely but takes too much time to make... Oh well! Better luck next time I guess! It still makes a cute little green bunny.

It is made of a tiny piece of green fleece sown by hand. The picture shows it laying against the lens cap of the camera so you can actually see how small it is.

See tomorrow with another bunny!
